Join artist Michelle Sider for a joyful one-day mosaic workshop where you’ll create a unique, hand-made gift—perfect for someone special (or yourself!). Choose between designing a beautiful mosaic picture frame that combines painting and glasswork, or crafting a translucent glass mosaic candle holder that glows with light and color.Learn the basics of mosaic design, glass cutting, and adhesion—no experience necessary. All materials are provided.
About Your Instructor: Michelle Sider is a Metro Detroit–based mixed-media artist whose mosaics and paintings explore light, color, and emotional depth. She holds a BFA from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit. With over 47 years of experience teaching, counseling, and creating art, Michelle’s award-winning work has been exhibited nationally and is represented by Twisted Fish Gallery (Elk Rapids, MI) and Ambleside Gallery (Greensboro, NC). She is an active member of CMA2, SAMA, DFABC, and BAMM, Her Huntington Woods studio is where she creates, teaches, and shares her passion for helping others through art.
